Officer and Senior Vice President of the Public Sector & Energy Efficiency Practice
Constellation Exelon
Louis J. Hutchinson, III, is Officer and Senior Vice President of the Public Sector & Energy Efficiency Practice, Constellation, Exelon Company. Six years ago, he entered the energy market and Constellation tasked him with forming and growing a vertical public sector and energy efficiency practice. From inception he has taken the sector from $1.2 million to $6 billion annually and the practice now represents approximately 15% of Constellation’s annual revenue. As a result of Dr. Hutchinson’s leadership Constellation currently serves 90% of the General Service Administration (GSA) power load nationally. This includes every federal building, department, and agency in the District of Columbia, including the White House, and the United Nations in New York City.
Hutchinson serves on the Board of Directors for the Down Town Partnership of Baltimore. He also recently published a book entitled, “Restore Together: Urban Ministry in the Context of Technology and Energy in the 21st Century.”
Hutchinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics from the George Washington University; and a Doctorate in Theological Studies and a Masters of Divinity Degree both from Wesley Theological Seminary.
