Marc A. Howze is Vice President, Global Human Resources, Deere & Company. Howze joined Deere in 2001 as an attorney. Howze was elected Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel in 2006. In that position, Howze was responsible for corporate governance matters, as well as legal and regulatory aspects of Deere’s financial transactions.

In 2009, he became Factory Manager, John Deere Turf Care, where he was responsible for the manufacture of the Deeres commercial mowing and golf course maintenance equipment. Howze was later appointed Global Director, Cotton Harvesting Product Line where he was responsible for Deere’s Global Cotton Harvesting business with factories in the US, China and Israel. Prior to joining John Deere, Howze served in the U.S. Army as an artillery officer. Howze serves on the North Carolina A&T University Board of Visitors. He is a member of the Illinois and Michigan Bar Associations.

Howze holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, and a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
