The Brink’s Company
Mel Parker is President of North America for The Brink’s Company. In his role, Parker oversees the commercial and operational business of Brink’s in the United States and Canada, with approximately $1 billion in annual revenue and 11,000 employees. Before joining Brink’s in 2012, Parker served as Vice President and General Manager of the North America Consumer and Small Business organization at Dell. During more than 22 years in operations, sales and marketing, Parker has held numerous senior leadership roles such as Senior Vice President of Sales North America, Vice President Marketing North America, General Manager and Brand Manager at multiple Fortune 500 Companies.
He is a decorated combat veteran and graduate of the U.S. Army Ranger and Airborne School. He served with distinction in the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft Bragg, N.C.Parker currently serves as a Director on the Board of the National Black MBA Association and served on the Executive Board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Texas.
Parker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
