Tony Anderson is a Partner in the D.C. office of Thompson Coburn LLP. He is a member of the fi rm’s Management Committee, Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee and Co-Chair of the Federal Practice. He also serves as a member of the Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees and as Chair of the Legal Affairs Committee of the American Public Transportation Association.
Anderson has been a legal advisor to many of the nation’s largest transit systems. His practice focuses on transportation law with an emphasis on procurement, project development and implementation, and compliance. For transit agencies, he addresses issues of compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, Federal Transit Administration requirements and federal labor protection matters.
In addition, he advises clients in connection with the transportation of hazardous materials and with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration issues.
Anderson was recently honored by the Washington Business Journal as a business leader who actively advances LGBTQ equality and leadership in the workplace.
Anderson received his B.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
