Tamesa Rogers has served as NETGEAR’s Chief People Officer since July 2021. She began her NETGEAR career in 2003, as Senior Human Resources Manager and rose through the ranks to her current position.
As the first in-house human resources employee, she aided the company’s growth from a startup to a mature, publicly traded company. Under her direction, the company instituted practices and processes to formalize recruiting, compensation, learning and development, performance management, leadership and succession planning. Her department’s most recent undertakings include a focus on employee engagement, company culture and the future of work.
Prior to NETGEAR, Rogers worked at TriNet, a professional employer organization, providing HR consulting to technology companies throughout Silicon Valley. Prior to TriNet, Rogers served in various human resources functions in several Northern California companies.
She currently sits on the board of directors for The Black Repertory Group Theater and is a member of The Links, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Rogers received a B.A. degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an M.S. degree in Counseling from California State University, Hayward.
