Martin “Marty” Rodgers is Accenture’s Market Unit Lead —U.S. South, a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee and North America Leadership Team. He oversees more than 24,000 people across 15 states, where he is responsible for financial performance, service integration, talent management and corporate citizenship.
Previously, Marty led Accenture’s Health & Public Service business in the Southeast and launched its for-profit Nonprofit Practice. Earlier in his career, Marty worked on Capitol Hill, where he helped write successful legislation that recognized the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday as a national day of service, created AmeriCorps (the U.S.’s domestic Peace Corps), and established the first federal apprenticeship program.
Marty serves on the Children’s Defense Fund’s national board and numerous local boards, including the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the United Way of the National Capital Area, KIPP-DC, and the Federal City Council, where he is currently chair. He is also a member of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C. Marty lives in Falls Church, VA, with his wife and three children.
Marty received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard University.
