Patricia L. Lewis is Executive Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of UnitedHealth Group.
In this role as the company’s first Chief Sustainability Officer, Lewis is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the enterprise’s ESG strategy, including environmental sustainability goals and UnitedHealth Group’s health equity and diversity, equity and inclusion commitments and initiatives.
Lewis previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer of UnitedHealth Group.
Before joining the company in 2019, Lewis was Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Lockheed Martin, a leading global security and aerospace company, with a diverse global workforce operating in more than 50 countries. She has led human capital teams within complex and highly regulated industries, including technology and life sciences.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin in 2011, Lewis held various positions in human resources at IBM Corporation and DuPont.
In 2020, Lewis was appointed to Lear Corporation’s board of directors.
Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Industrial Relations from University of Bridgeport.
