Lynton Scotland leads the global procurement and logistics function for W. L. Gore & Associates, a material science company dedicated to transforming industries and improving lives. In that capacity, Lynton has overall responsibility for Gore’s sourcing strategy and execution of the company’s global spend.

 

Prior to joining Gore, Lynton held several senior positions with major U.S. corporations and was co-founder of an energy company. Most recently, he was the global strategic sourcing leader for DuPont’s Protection Solutions business and previously served as a senior executive and co-founder of Sustainable Star (a renewable energy company focused on solar photovoltaic and the sale of gas and electricity).

 

Lynton is a member of the board of trustees of the University of Dayton in Ohio and is the former chairman of the board of Urban Promise Wilmington. He is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC); co-chair of the Community Impact initiative and a former board member of the Executive Leadership Foundation.

 

Lynton earned a BSCHE degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dayton; a Master of Science in Statistics from Rutgers University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
