Angela Y. Jones is Chief People Officer at Compass Minerals with responsibility for leading its people strategy and global human resources team. In this role, Jones is focused on building an inclusive, high-performing culture that will enable Compass Minerals to drive operational excellence and global product innovation – helping to fulfill its mission to safely deliver essential minerals where and when it matters.
Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Jones developed a strong background in transforming organizational cultures in the agriculture and consumer products industries, serving as Vice President, Human Resources, at Rembrandt Enterprises and ConAgra Brands, Inc.
In addition, Jones has significant operations experience, having held roles including director of operations and plant manager for The Clorox Company as well as progressively responsible supply chain and operations roles within Procter & Gamble earlier in her career.
With a personal mission of building the next generation of leaders, Jones chairs the Diversity Programs Office Advisory Board for the College of Agriculture at Kansas State University. She also works to cultivate internal and external mentoring and sponsorship relationships.
Jones holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and MBA from Georgia Tech.
