Cindy R. Kent is Executive Vice President & President of Senior Living for Brookdale Senior Living Inc.
Prior to Brookdale, Kent was President & General Manager, 3M Drug Delivery Systems Division for 3M, a $30 billion diversified technology company, known worldwide for its innovation.
Prior to joining 3M, Kent was the Vice President and General Manager of the Gastro/Urology Therapies business unit for Medtronic. There she had P&L responsibility for the half-billion-dollar global franchise and led one of the fastest growing and most profitable product lines in the company’s portfolio.
Kent served as a member of the Oversight Committee of the Decade of Discovery — a threeway diabetes research collaboration between the University of Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic as well as the State of Minnesota.
Kent serves on the Board of Directors for Best Buy. Kent is a member of the 2013 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute and a member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Healthcare Industry.
Kent holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from Northwestern University as well as an MBA in Marketing and a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University.
