Dmitri Stockton is President and CEO of GE Asset Management for GE, a leading global investment firm. In this role, Stockton oversees $116 billion in assets under management for GE’s U.S. employee pension and benefits plans and a wide range of other institutional investors, including plan sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and endowments. A 27-year GE veteran, Stockton previously served as President and CEO of GE Capital’s Global Banking unit. Earlier in his GE career, he held positions including: CEO for GE Capital Bank in Switzerland, President and CEO of GE Money’s Central and Eastern European Banking Group. Stockton is a Senior Vice President of GE Company and a member of GE’s Corporate Executive Council.
Stockton is a member of Pension Managers Advisory Committee, and the Executive Advisory Council at North Carolina A&T State University School of Business and Economics; and on the Boards of GE Foundation and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. He is a former board member of Garanti Bank in Turkey.
Stockton has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University.
