Shelley Stewart, Jr.

Shelley Stewart, Jr. is Vice President, Sourcing & Logistics and Chief Procurement Officer for E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. In this role, Stewart leads global sourcing and logistics and procurement activities at DuPont, where he focuses on delivering benefits through a strategic approach to supplier management, purchasing, and logistics.

Prior to joining DuPont in 2012, Stewart was Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence and Chief Procurement Officer at Tyco. An advocate of the essential role of supply management in company profitability, He is coauthor of Straight To The Bottom Line™: An Executive’s Roadmap to World Class Supply Management. Stewart is on the Board of Directors of Cleco Corp. and is the chair of the visiting BOD at Howard University’s School of Business. He is also Vice Chair of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce National Advisory Council on Minority Business Enterprise.

Stewart has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. In addition, he has a MBA from the University of New Haven.
