Cheryl A. Harris is Senior Vice President, Sourcing & Procurement Solutions for Allstate Insurance Company, the largest publicly held personal lines property and casualty insurer in America with more than 70,000 professionals comprised of employees, agency owners and staff. Among Allstate’s employees, nearly 60 percent are women, and more than 30 percent are minorities. In this role, Harris is responsible for optimizing Allstate’s spend portfolio of $7.5 billion through collaboration with internal business partners and driving innovation with external suppliers. She also oversees Allstate’s Supplier Diversity program, which is focused on increasing opportunities for small-, minority- and women-owned businesses.Harris serves on the Florida A&M University (FAMU) Foundation Board. Additionally, she is Key Executive and Chair of Business & Industry Cluster at FAMU, responsible for engaging corporate partners to optimize their relationship with the university through curriculum development, recruiting and sponsored research. Harris serves as a board member for Teen Living Program, and the Chicago Humanities Festival.
Harris holds a Bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University.
