Ms. Caldwell is responsible for driving a high performance culture leading to a transformation of the tobacco industry by driving innovation throughout RAI’s businesses, redefining enjoyment for adult tobacco consumers, reducing the harm caused by smoking, and accelerating the decline in youth tobacco use.

She reports to the CEO and serves as the management liaison to the Compensation & Leadership Development Committee of the RAI Board of Directors. She also provides counsel and advice to CEO and executive management team on all human resources and employment law matters.

Caldwell serves on the Board of Visitors for the Wake Forest University Schools of Business and board member of the Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind.

Caldwell is a member of United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, The Links Incorporated and the Executive Leadership Council.

Caldwell has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law.
