Sylvia A. Stein is the Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Modine Manufacturing Company, a global public company, headquartered in Racine, WI.
In this role, Stein leads the global Legal, Compliance and Intellectual Property functions, which includes advising Modine’s senior management team, supporting the Board of Directors, and managing a variety of legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters.
Before joining Modine, Stein served as the Associate General Counsel, Marketing & Regulatory at Kraft Heinz Foods Company, a global food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Chicago, IL. Earlier in her career, Stein was an associate at Latham & Watkins in Chicago. Prior to that, she served as a law clerk on the federal district court in Chicago, IL.
Stein presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Just the Beginning, and is a member of several local and national bar associations. Stein holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a member of the Michigan Law Review.
