Quentin Roach is Chief Procurement Officer and Senior Vice President – Global Supplier Management Group, Global Supply Business Development and Global Workplace & Enterprise Services for Merck & Co., Inc. In this role, he leads Global Sourcing & Procurement (including the company’s Economic Inclusion & Supplier Diversity processes, which are focused on ensuring an inclusive environment for engagement of diverse and small businesses); Supplier Development & Performance Management; Externalization; Business Development; Global Real Estate; Integrated Facilities Management; and Shared Service operations.
Roach is the Executive Sponsor of Merck’s Next Generation Network, focused on making Merck the employer of choice for the next generation of employees. He also leads 3rd Party Risk Management activities within the Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity areas.
Roach is responsible for oversight of companywide expenditures, leadership of contract manufacturing operations, integration of M&A, JV & alliance management activities, enterprise externalization strategies, and productivity and Working Capital Management Improvement initiatives.
Roach currently serves on the Board of Directors for Armada, LLC and Liquid Biosciences, Inc.
Roach holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management of Technology from Arizona State University.
