Marchelle E. Moore is the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for Motorists Insurance Group. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Motorists consists of 16 property and casualty, workers’ compensation, life insurance and insurance brokerage companies writing in 28 states and the District of Columbia.
Moore leads Motorists’ strategic and tactical legal initiatives and provides the executive and senior leadership teams with legal advice on company strategies and implementation. She also leads regulatory affairs, industry relations and corporate communications.
Moore’s awards and achievements include the United Way’s 2016 Key Club Emerging Leader Award; Citizens’ Commission on Elected Official Compensation, commissioner; and fellow of the Young American Leader Program at Harvard Business School.
Moore is the immediate past chair of The Ohio State University Alumni Association Board of Directors and is a current member of the National Council for The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. She is also a Board Director for CampusParc and the Ohio Insurance Guaranty Association.
Moore holds a Juris Doctor degree and a B.A. degree in English from The Ohio State University.
