Gregory S. Nixon is Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of DynCorp International Inc., overseeing all aspects of the legal, contracts, compliance, human resources, procurement, security, export controls and crisis management functions.
Previously, Nixon was a Managing Director of Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company. Prior to Cerberus, he served as Chief Legal Officer of CH2M Hill Companies, Ltd. and on the Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company Board of Directors.
Prior to CH2M Hill, he served as DynCorp International’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary; Vice President at McKinsey & Company Inc.; Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.; and a commercial litigator at Howrey & Simon LLP. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Tuskegee University.
After serving as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, Nixon held senior government positions in the U.S. Government Accountability Offi ce and served as a special counsel within the U.S. Department of Defense. He is a licensed patent attorney with a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps Reserve.
