Ken Charles will be joining Thrivent, a Fortune 500 diversified financial services organization, as its Senior Vice President, Chief DEI and Corporate Responsibility Officer.
In this role, Ken will lead Thrivent’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and corporate responsibility teams. He will be responsible for advancing and executing Thrivent’s DEI strategy, building upon Thrivent’s progress while also helping us make greater strides. He will also be responsible for strengthening and deepening Thrivent’s community partnerships, striving to increase impact and amplify our generosity efforts.
“Ken has a long and successful track record in establishing and advancing DEI initiatives across major companies. He is both a strategic leader and a pragmatic leader, able to build strong progress while driving strategy and execution,” said Kelly Baker, Thrivent’s Chief Human Resources Officer.
Prior to joining Thrivent, Ken was most recently the Founder of Intentional Talent Advancement, LLC., a strategic DEI consulting firm he has led for the past two years. Before that, he held a variety of key leadership positions focused on DEI and talent at American Airlines, U.S. Bank and General Mills.
He lives in the Twin Cities metro area with his family.
