Stellantis is proud of our team’s efforts to become a corporate leader in promoting the best values of diversity and inclusion. In fact, our philosophy is that we are not just a car company, but a source of economic empowerment. We believe it is our obligation to be a force for positive change and an example for others.

At Stellantis, our corporate values include a longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion and the celebration of multicultural differences. We strive to maintain a diverse work culture where all people are respected and engaged in the work of exceeding the expectations of our customers, business partners and communities.

The proof of this commitment is in the numbers. In 2022, we increased the diversity of our salaried U.S. workforce by 58%. This included a 27% increase in gender diversity and a 39% increase in ethnic diversity. More importantly, the diversity in our C-suite grew by 20%.

To continue this momentum, we established two programs focused on training and developing emerging Black and multicultural talent within our company for future leadership opportunities, modeled after our award-winning Women’s Leadership Experience talent development program.

To help raise our multicultural IQ, Stellantis supports 11 business resource groups in the U.S. whose objectives include promoting awareness of multicultural differences, supporting members’ career development and ensuring our products align with expectations of diverse customers and communities.

These groups represent a range of affinity communities including African Ancestry, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, Women and Women in Engineering and Manufacturing, Middle Eastern, Disability, Veteran, Working Parents and LGBTQ+.

As we fuel a work culture that enables each of our employees to realize their full potential, we are also advancing the conversation on diversity and inclusion beyond aspirational statements in pursuit of intentional actions and outcomes that have tangible economic impact across diverse communities.

A key competitive differentiator of Stellantis’ commitment to diversity continues to be our leadership in providing new opportunities to grow diverse suppliers, including certified minority, women, veteran, LGBTQ+ and disability-owned businesses.

Since 1983, the Company has purchased more than $100 billion from diverse-owned suppliers and spent nearly $7.5 billion in North America last year with this same group of suppliers. In 2022, we hosted the 23rd annual MatchMaker, our annual business-to-business trade fair designed to build a diverse supply base and grow wealth for diverse business owners and communities.

Over the past two years, we have taken that commitment to growing diversity and inclusion in our supply base to exciting new levels.

We launched the pilot of the National Black Supplier Development Program in 2021 in partnership with the National Business League, an automotive industry first, and introduced the inaugural collective in 2022. At scale, the program is expected to support business opportunities and development for millions of Black-owned businesses in the U.S. and internationally.

Stellantis is also working with the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council to bring sourcing opportunities to women[1]owned businesses through its MentorWe mentorship program. The 9-month program provides access to development and networking opportunities to support their economic empowerment.

Stellantis’ commitment to diversity is central to the company’s Dare Forward 2030 business strategy, contributing to making it an extraordinary place to work and a magnet for people with the talent and drive to improve the lives of our customers today and in the digital and electrified future.

Our team remains focused and engaged to continue to innovate in this space, and our commitment to diversity will continue to drive our company’s success.
