Rhonda Mims is President, ING U.S. Foundation and Senior Vice President, Office of Corporate Responsibility for ING U.S. In this role, Mims is responsible for the corporate responsibility strategy for the U.S. operations. She has oversight for the company’s business principles, investment and finance policies, workforce diversity, diversity marketing, as well as corporate philanthropy with a special focus on children’s education, financial literacy, outreach to diverse communities, and environmental sustainability. Prior to her current role, Mims was a member of ING’s external affairs team. She served as ING U.S. PAC treasurer, ethics officer, and conducted government affairs for some of the mid-western states and the City of Atlanta.
Mims currently serves on the Board of Directors of Americas Promise Alliance, The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Association of Corporate Contributions Professionals and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Business Civic Leadership Center. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association.
Mims holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
