Ralph V. Gilles is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – SRT Brand and Motorsports for Chrysler Group LLC. He continues to lead the company’s Product Design Office as Senior Vice President as well. Previously, he served as President and CEO – Dodge brand. Gilles was named Vice President – Design on Sept. 1, 2008. Since first joining the former Chrysler Corporation in 1992 as a designer, Gilles has put his extensive academic background in industrial design and business administration to good use holding various positions within the Company.Gilles serves as the executive sponsor of the Chrysler African American Network (CAAN) in addition to playing a leading role with The Chrysler Global Diversity Council. He also serves on the board of McLaren Oakland and The College for Creative Studies (CCS) Board of Trustees. Gilles has earned numerous academic and industry awards, including The Michigan State University Eli Broad Graduate School of Management’s “Young Alumni Achievement Award.”
Gilles holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies and a MBA from Michigan State University.
