Marilyn F. Booker serves as the Head of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s (MSSB) Urban Markets Group. In this new role, she will be running a financial advisory business within MSSB focusing specifically on the Harlem and Washington Heights sections of New York City. The Urban Markets Group’s mission is to create a unique blend of assisting clients with their financial needs while enhancing MSSB’s presence in the communities in which they operate via significant community outreach.
Ms. Booker is a Trustee of the Morgan Stanley Foundation, a member of The Morgan Stanley Benefit Plan Administrative Committee and a former member of the Morgan Stanley Residential Franchise Risk Committee. She is a former board member of the Arthur Ashe Institute of Health and the Michael J. Berkeley Foundation and is the Vice-Chairman of the New York Urban League Board. Ms. Booker received her B.A. magna cum laude from Spelman College and her J.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology-Chicago Kent College of Law.
