Ms. Williams leads Volkswagen’s Corporate Diversity initiative, and is currently responsible for leading the Talent Strategy, Training Development, and Organizational Development functions as well.
Williams also instituted Diversity Outreach programs lead by members of a Corporate Diversity Council, which helps VWGoA establish a legacy of Corporate Social Responsibility in the communities where it does business. She also spear-headed a community- based Diversity Advisory Council at the Chattanooga, TN. plant that is helping to ensure that Volkswagen remains an integral part of the community.
Under her leadership VWGoA has been recognized as a Best Place to Work by the Human Rights Campaign achieving a 100% score on the Corporate Equality Index three times since 2008.
Williams currently serves on the Board of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, as well as the INROADS Mid Atlantic Regional Board.
Williams received her B.A. from Drake University, where she majored in Magazine Journalism.
