Ms. Giles is responsible for a broad range of assignments related to the company’s commitment to the community on behalf of DTE Energy Chairman, President and CEO, Gerard M. Anderson. Giles is also responsible for providing customer service, which includes call centers, business offices, billing services, meter reading and credit and collection. In addition, she serves as the company’s Ethics Officer and the ombudsman for employee-related issues.

Giles previously served as vice president of corporate resources at MCN Energy Group.

Giles currently serves on the boards of Health Alliance Plan of Michigan, the Music Hall, Wayne State Alumni Association, Habitat for Humanity of Detroit, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, Knoxville College, and the DTE Energy Foundation. She is a member of the Leadership Detroit Alumni Association and The Links, Inc.

Giles earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Knoxville College, an MBA from the University of Detroit and a law degree from Wayne State University Law School.
