John O. Utendahl is Vice Chairman, Deutsche Bank Americas for Deutsche Bank, a leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise. In this role, Utendahl uses his C-Suite relationships, developed over 30 years in business, to provide strategic advice and to leverage Deutsche Bank’s global financial services platform for its institutional, platinum level clients. He is spearheading DB’s worldwide relationship banking effort to bridge their largest clients with international, cross border M&A financial and business opportunities. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he spent 18 years as Chairman of the Utendahl Financial organization, a consortium of five financial affiliates offering corporate clients a comprehensive suite of strategic advisory, investment banking and investment services. Utendahl served as a Director on several Boards, including the Securities Industry Association (SIA), the US Fund for UNICEF and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He has appeared in Forbes, Fortune, C-1 of the Wall Street Journal and CNBC’s “Power Lunch”.
Utendahl has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Long Island University and a MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
