Jerrell Moore is Vice President, Community Affairs & Minority Business Development for Burger King Corporation. In this role, Moore works with franchising and development teams to develop and launch strategic initiatives for growing Burger King’s minority franchisees. Moore developed a strategic framework that assisted the company’s analysis of existing franchisees to identify and capture new market opportunities (partner, acquire, build). In 2013, helped BK continue its mark of consecutive year growth of minority-owned restaurants.
Prior to joining Burger King, he was Director of Diversity and Inclusion at MassMutual Financial Group. In this role, he led the diversity efforts for the corporation. Moore is a Big Brother with the Big Brothers Big Sisters and previously held board positions with New England Public Radio, the Greater Springfield YMCA Board of Advisors, and My Sister’s Place, a non-profit agency exclusively serving the lives of homeless women and their children in Hartford, CT.
Moore has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from South Carolina State University and a Juris Doctor & Master of Human Resources from the University of South Carolina.
