Jerome D. Hamilton has served as Vice President 3M Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Acquisition Integration and Quality for 3M. Previously, he served as General Manager of 3M’s Masking and Surface Protection business. Known by many innovation leaders as a LEAN expert, Hamilton has made tremendous contributions to a number of companies, especially in areas impacting cost, cash and growth – the keystone to and improving operational excellence. Quality, an off-shoot of any good Lean Six Sigma program, is also a core value for 3M employees around the world and Hamilton leads the effort.

Recruiting and training 3M entry-level manufacturing and process engineers is a key focus for sustaining quality and knowledge transfer globally. Hamilton manages the effort in a revolutionary program called Optimized Operations. Hamilton serves on the board of the Goodwill Easter Seals, whose mission is to assist those with barriers to employment.

Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, a B.S. from Morehouse College, and a M.S. degree in International Logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
