Ironwood Warranty Group, a leading provider of comprehensive warranty and service contract solutions, has announced the appointment of Wayne Davis as Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, Davis will lead Ironwood’s commercial strategy across sales, business development, marketing, brand and strategic partnerships.
Davis joins Ironwood during a period of significant momentum. Ironwood was recently named to Louisville Business First’s 2026 Fast 50, marking the fourth consecutive year the company has been recognized among the region’s fastest-growing private companies.
“Ironwood has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years, and we believe we are still in the early stages of what this business can become,” said Kevin Callahan, President of Ironwood Warranty Group. “Wayne brings a rare combination of commercial leadership, brand-building expertise and experience scaling businesses. As we enter our next phase, his ability to connect strategy with commercial execution will help us expand our network, deepen our partnerships and accelerate growth.”
Davis brings more than two decades of experience building businesses and brands, developing growth strategies and leading commercial organizations across consumer and B2B markets. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Hertz, where he led global marketing and brand strategy across the Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty brands, along with customer engagement and strategic partnership initiatives.
Previously, Davis spent 13 years with GE Appliances, holding a series of commercial and brand leadership positions. Most notably, he led the transformation and expansion of the Café appliance brand, helping grow the business from approximately $200 million to more than $800 million and establishing Café as one of the fastest-growing brands in the premium appliance category.
Earlier in his career, Davis held roles with Procter & Gamble and Hobsons.
“Ironwood has built something special-a highly focused business with deep expertise, an entrepreneurial culture and significant opportunity ahead,” Davis said. “What excites me most is the opportunity to build on that momentum: expanding our commercial reach, strengthening our broker and partner network, sharpening how we communicate Ironwood”s value proposition and building a scalable growth engine for the future.”
As Chief Commercial Officer, Davis will work closely with Ironwood’s leadership team to strengthen the company’s commercial capabilities, expand existing relationships, develop new channels and partnerships, and identify opportunities for growth across current and emerging markets.
Davis is a longtime member of the Louisville business community and was named to Louisville Business First’s Forty Under 40 in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Morehouse College and an MBA from Xavier University.
