Grammy Award-Winning Singer / Songwriter NE-YO Releases New Single “She Knows” Featuring Juicy J

by LP Green, II

NE-YO’s brand new single “She Knows” featuring Juicy J is now available on iTunes and all digital retailers via Motown Records.

The song made its world premiere last week on Los Angeles radio station Power 106 FM. Immediately after the song’s debut, numerous press tastemakers, outlets and blogs featured the track. Billboard called it, “spare and hard-hitting”, while Complex praised its “traditional R&B style”. The buzz immediately began spreading and it hasn’t stopped.

The three-time GRAMMY Award-winner and multiplatinum singer, songwriter, producer, and actor taps into classic R&B bravado with the track’s propulsive horns and smooth production.

In between NE-YO’s dynamic and dynamite delivery, Juicy J serves up an equally charismatic and catchy verse of his own. “She Knows” cements the foundation for the impending release of the artist’s forthcoming sixth full-length album, Non-Fiction, due out early 2015. It also follows up this summer’s “Money Can’t Buy” featuringJeezy.

Hot on the heels of the single’s release, NE-YO is gearing up to hit the road on the “One Night With NE-YO Tour”. The jaunt commences in San Francisco at the Warfield on October 12 and wraps up November 2 at the Fillmore in Chicago, hitting House of Blues venues across the country. Anticipation for this run is widespread as both the Los Angeles and Anaheim dates sold out in advance with tickets going fast in other markets.

NE-YO’s Non-Fiction will be the sound of 2015.

Non-Fiction follows NE-YO’s late 2012 release R.E.D. (Realizing Every Dream), which received rave reviews. USA Today proclaimed, “There isn’t a more natural singer/songwriter in contemporary R&B than NE-YO” and the Washington Post stated, “Clearly, NE-YO is an extremely gifted and versatile songwriter.” NE-YO’s first three studio albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and were all certified RIAA Platinum: In My Own Words (2006),Because Of You (Grammy award-winning Best Contemporary R&B Album for 2007), and Year Of The Gentleman (2008).
