Zarifa Brown Reynolds is the Head of Strategic Growth Markets and the Small Market Business Segment for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America ® (Guardian).
Reynolds has oversight of Guardian’s distribution and benefits technology strategy and execution and a national team of sales consultants. She has accountability for business strategy, P&L management, business development, sales effectiveness, client retention, marketing, product development, recruiting and retaining talent and a broad range of general management responsibilities.
Reynolds also serves as the executive sponsor for Guardian’s Black Employee Inclusion Network, an affinity-based employee resource group aimed at promoting cultural awareness and building a pipeline for retaining and advancing diverse talent.
Prior to Guardian, Reynolds was Head of Corporate Development at TIAA, where she was responsible for corporate mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, strategic venture capital investing and corporate strategic projects.
Reynolds is a board member of KIPP New Jersey and the Harvard Law School Association of New York City.
Reynolds holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University.
