Warren M. Thompson is the President and Chairman of Thompson Hospitality Corporation. In this role, Thompson leads the largest minority owned food and facilities management services
company in the country, with 4,000 associates and revenues of more than 525 million dollars in 2015.
Thompson Hospitality was founded in 1992, when Thompson completed a leveraged buyout of
31 Bob’s Big Boy restaurants. Thompson expanded the company into the contract food service arena. In 1997, Thompson created Thompson Hospitality Services, LLC by forging a strategic partnership with Compass Group, the world’s largest food service company.
Thompson Hospitality’s growth in revenue has placed the company 9th in Food Management Magazine’s “50 Largest Contract Companies”.
Thompson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business
