Vicky Free is Senior Vice President, Global Marketing for adidas based in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
In this role, Free has global responsibility to lead and steer our commercial and brand success through developing and delivering compelling consumer brand stories. She will achieve this through driving consistent global brand activation with accountability of planning, and optimization of omni-channel marketing strategies and investment allocation.
Formerly, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Novant Health.
Free has more than twenty years of B2B and B2C experience. Throughout her career, she has developed strategic, innovative, and results-driving campaigns for best-in-class global brands including McDonald’s, Warner Media, BET Networks, a division of VIACOM, and The Walt Disney Company.
Free is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and on board of directors for PromaxBDA. Vicky is also a member of the University of South Carolina Dean’s Advisory Board and sponsors a scholarship and on the board of the Urban League of Central Carolinas.
Free holds an executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina.
