Veleka R. Peeples-Dyer is Chair of the North America Food and Drug Practice for Baker McKenzie and a member of the Firm’s North American Healthcare & Life Sciences Steering Committee.
Peeples-Dyer provides strategic and practical legal, business and compliance advice and counsel to biopharmaceutical and medical device companies around the world.
Peeples-Dyer is involved in many diversity and inclusion initiatives at and outside of the Firm, including serving on the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Advisory Board (CCWC), which is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the career advancement of in-house women of color and supporting global diversity in the legal profession and workplace.
Peeples-Dyer is also a proud DC Founding Member of Chief, which is a private network of women in executive leadership designed to strengthen their leadership, magnify their influence and pave the way to bring others with them. Chief has been recognized as one of the Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2021, and its diverse membership includes over 10,000 of the most senior executives in the United States.
Peeples-Dyer is a graduate of Hampton University and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
