Veleka R. Peeples-Dyer is Chair of the North America Food and Drug Practice for Baker McKenzie and a member of the Firm’s North American Healthcare & Life Sciences Steering Committee.
Peeples-Dyer provides strategic and practical legal, business and compliance advice and counsel to biopharmaceutical and medical device companies around the world.
Peeples-Dyer is involved in many diversity and inclusion initiatives at and outside of the Firm, including serving on the Corporate Counsel Women of Color Advisory Board (CCWC), which is a non-proﬁt organization committed to promoting the career advancement of in-house women of color and supporting global diversity in the legal profession and workplace.
Peeples-Dyer is also a proud DC Founding Member of Chief, which is a private network of women in executive leadership designed to strengthen their leadership, magnify their inﬂuence and pave the way to bring others with them. Peeples-Dyer is a graduate of Hampton University and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
