Teri Plummer McClure served as a UPS executive for nearly 25 years before retiring as Chief Human Resources Officer in July, 2019.

 

In this role, Teri had responsibility for Human Resources, Employee Communications, and Labor Relations for the company’s more than 444,000 employees worldwide.

 

Teri joined UPS in 1995 as an attorney. Teri moved quickly through the ranks, and in 2006 became the first African American Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at UPS. She assumed the roles of CHRO and Senior Vice President of Labor in 2015.

 

Teri serves on the Board of Directors for Lennar Corporation and United Way Worldwide. Among her many notable accomplishments, Teri was the Co-chair of the Georgia Supreme Courts Committee on Civil Justice. She most recently received the 2016 Atlanta Business Chronicle Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2014 General Counsel of the Year Pathfinder Award from the National Bar Association.

 

Teri received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law.
