Telisa Yancy is Enterprise President for American Family Insurance.
In this role. Yancy leads the American Family Insurance group direct to consumer, exclusive and independent agency brands, product, marketing, customer and claims teams.
Previously, Yancy was President of American Family Insurance Direct. In this role, she oversaw the American Family Insurance Mutual Holding Company’s direct-to-consumer companies – Homesite, The General and CONNECT, powered by American Family Insurance.
Yancy joined American Family Insurance in 2009 as Advertising Director and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2013 and Chief Marketing Officer in 2016. In these roles, Telisa oversaw all branding, marketing and advertising activities for the company, including launching the award-winning “Dreams” campaign in 2011 and its numerous extensions. She also introduced the concept of brand ambassadors to serve as “dream champions.”
Prior to joining American Family Insurance, Yancy gained significant experience in brand, digital, media and emerging technologies, holding executive positions at Burger King and Ford Motor Company.
Yancy holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and a B.S. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
