Stafford L. Thompson, Jr. is Senior Vice President of Life Product Management at Lincoln Financial Group.
In this role, Stafford drives expansion, diversification and enhancement of Lincoln’s industry-leading portfolio of individual Life Insurance and executive benefit products. His key responsibilities include product development, pricing and business development.
Before joining Lincoln in 2018, Stafford held several positions at SCOR Global Life Americas including VP, Marketing Actuary (US markets) and VP, Product and Business Development Actuary in Latin America.
Stafford is a former President of the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA). During his tenure as President of the IABA, he connected the corporate and educational communities to increase professional awareness and support the careers of Black Actuaries.
Stafford is also a Board member of Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.
Stafford is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and holds series 6 and 26 licenses.
Stafford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science from Florida A&M University.
