Sonya C. Little serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Tampa, FL.
In this capacity, she serves as the administrator for the Revenue and Finance Department. She is primarily responsible for administering an annual operating budget of more than $830 million; managing the city’s credit ratings and a debt portfolio in excess of $857 million; and for overseeing the primary functions of accounting, grants management and investments.
Prior to joining the city, Little worked as a Managing Director with Public Resources Advisory Group (PRAG) in the firm’s St. Petersburg, FL, office for three years. Before joining PRAG, she worked with RBC Capital Markets and William R. Hough & Co. as an investment banker for over 14 years. Additionally, she was previously a bond development specialist with the State of Florida’s Division of Bond Finance.
Little earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of South Florida.
