David Baker Lewis currently serves as Of Counsel at Lewis & Munday, a Detroitbased legal firm with offices in New York City and Washington, D.C.
Lewis is a Co-Founder of the firm, which was established in 1972, and previously served as the firm’s Chairman and CEO.
With more than four decades of experience in municipal finance, Lewis is widely respected as an expert in municipal bonds, including revenue bonds, general obligation bonds, certificates of participation, bond offerings, bond purchase agreements, special tax bonds, state revolving bond funds, cash-flow borrowings, industrial development bonds and performing due diligence.
Lewis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a Juris Doctor degree from the David Baker Lewis University of Michigan School of Law.
