Shondi Muir is the Global Head of Inclusion & Diversity at Carrier, the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable, and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.
In this role, Muir is responsible for accelerating I&D at Carrier. This includes leading global initiatives to embed I&D in Carrier values, programs and processes and collaborating to drive representation to new levels, in line with Carrier’s four tenet I&D strategy.
Muir joined Carrier in 2020 leading culture and engagement strategies, with the responsibility of building and maturing Carrier’s practice as a standalone company. She was appointed to her current role in January 2022.
Muir has over 20 years of human resources and I&D experience. Prior to joining Carrier, Muir held various human resources roles with increasing responsibility at Honeywell, BMW North America, and the YMCA.
Muir hold a Masters of Professional Studies in Human Resource Management from Fort Hays State University, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from SUNY Empire State, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from SUNY Cortland.
