Shelley Stewart III is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company.
In this role, Stewart III is a leader in McKinsey & Company’s global Marketing and Sales practice.
He has led growth focused engagements with numerous privately held and publicly traded companies to help design new go-to-market models, improve effectiveness of sales-forces, and improve the bottom-line through comprehensive margin management transformations.
Additionally, Stewart III leads the McKinsey Institute for Black Economic Mobility, a think-and-do-tank focused on catalyzing solutions to improving economic outcomes for Black individuals and families. He has published numerous articles, the media widely covers his work, and he is a noted speaker on the topic.
Stewart III is on the Board of Directors of the National Black MBA Association, a non-profit supporting 15,000 members with career placement and development. Shelley is also on the Board of the Brooklyn Community Foundation, the first and only public foundation solely dedicated to Brooklyn’s charitable community. In 2022, he was named a Notable Black Leader by Crain’s New York Business.
Stewart III has a B.A. degree in Economics from Boston College, an MBA from Columbia University and an MPA from Harvard University.
