Shavonne Gordon is a Senior Leader in Capital One’s Talent Acquisition organization. She is responsible for all professional hiring for the company’s largest business – US Card. Through her thoughtful and engaging approach, Shavonne seamlessly navigates a challenging hiring market, while building and developing an incredibly talented recruiting team.
Previously, Shavonne led Technology Talent Acquisition, the company’s fastest-growing business, as well as Diversity Talent Acquisition, where she worked to build Capital One’s brand with diverse audiences and oversaw the Business Resource Groups, Enterprise Partnership Strategy, and D&I Learning and Development programs.
Shavonne joined Capital One in 2001, spending eight years leading technology teams as a Business Systems Analyst, Project Manager and Technical Lead.
Shavonne also sits on the advisory board for the Women in Technology and Blacks in Tech Business Resource Groups (BRG) and serves as the Strategic Advisor for Voices, Capital One’s Black BRG. In addition, Shavonne is a member of the Industry Council for Virginia State University and CALIBR Global Leadership Network.
Shavonne holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
