Shaunte Mears-Watkins is the General Manager for the Australia & New Zealand operations of The Clorox Company.


In this role, Shaunte is responsible for the P&L and strategic direction of the portfolio, which includes global brands like Glad® and Burt’s Bees®, as well as regional brands like Chux®, Handy Andy® and Gumption®.


Prior to her current role, Shaunte was Studio Lead – Clorox Home Care. She was one of the key architects who modernized the $1B+, 100+ yearold Clorox brand with new purpose-driven, digitally enabled marketing plans. The “Clean Matters” campaign earned advertising industry recognition and drove significant spending efficiencies for the business.


Over the course of her career, Shaunte has sought out experiences across a range of categories, including cosmetics, baby care, and food & beverages. She credits these varied experiences as a source of fresh thinking and innovative problem solving.


Shaunte holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A.S. in Economics and English from Stanford University.
