Samuel C. Scott, III was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for Corn Products International, Inc. (CPC), now known as Ingredion.
In this role, Scott led CPC, a corn refining business, from February 2001 until his retirement in May 2009.
Previously, Scott served as Chief Operating Officer of CPC from 1997 through January 2001. Previously, Scott served as President of the Worldwide Corn Refining Business of CPC, International, Inc. (now Unilever Bestfoods), from 1995 to 1997 and was President of CPC International’s North American Corn Refining Business from 1989 to 1997.
Scott is focused on community involvement and serves on the Boards of Northwestern Medical Group, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, The Chicago Urban League, and World Business Chicago. Scott is also Chairman of the Chicago Sister Cities International.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA both from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
