Ryan Coaxum is Senior Vice President, Head of Community Development and External Affairs for Guaranty Bank & Trust.
In this role, Coaxum is responsible for leading public affairs, corporate philanthropy, strategy, community investments, managing community partnerships, strategic marketing, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. He is responsible for engaging all employees through volunteerism within their local communities.
Coaxum is a proven brand-builder, with a record of accomplishment of driving growth and expanding market presence. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Commercial Lending and Vice President of Business Development.
Coaxum serves on the board of directors of Ballet Austin and the Adderley School for the Performing Arts. He holds leadership positions and volunteers his time with Texas Bankers Association and American Bankers Association focusing on local, state and federal government relations and policy.
Coaxum has been featured in Independent Bankers Magazine, Texas Banking Magazine and the ABA Banking Journal.
Coaxum received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Huston-Tillotson University.
