Philip Rigueur is Vice President of Joint Venture Sales Effectiveness and Distribution for Aetna’s Accountable Care Solutions. Joint Venture is an Aetna organization working to transform healthcare for patients, providers and employers by providing a sustainable solution for more affordable, high-quality health care. In this role, he is charged with bringing the shared vision of Aetna and well-respected hospital systems together to drive one objective: helping individuals achieve their health ambitions, while aggressively increasing market share. Under his leadership, Joint Venture Markets consist of 600,000 medical members and $1 billion in revenue across five markets.
For two years, Rigueur served as the Head of Distribution Strategy for Aetna’s Customers Groups ranging in size from 100 to 3,000 employees. He forged key business partnerships, resulting in driving more than $5 billion in annual revenue comprised of medical, dental and other insurance memberships.
Rigueur serves on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association of Connecticut, Inc. and the Northside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance, Inc. He currently holds a mayoral appointment to Hartford’s Redevelopment Agency.
Rigueur holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University.
