Natalie Lamarque is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of New York Life Insurance Company with day-to-day oversight of the Office of the General Counsel. She is also a member of the company’s Executive Management Committee and serves on New York Life’s Social Justice and ESG Steering Committees.
Lamarque joined New York Life Insurance Company in 2014 as an Associate General Counsel in the Litigation Group.
Lamarque has held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief of Staff to the General Counsel, Sheila Davidson, and supervising the Sales Practice Review team in the Corporate Compliance Department.
Prior to joining New York Life Insurance Company, Lamarque served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where she prosecuted an array of federal crimes, including racketeering, insurance fraud, money laundering, bank fraud, credit card fraud, and identity theft. Prior to that, she was an Associate in the Litigation Department of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.
Lamarque serves on the board of City Year New York and the Legal Aid Society of New York.
Lamarque earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law and her B.A. from Duke University.
