Ms. States is an experienced and industry recognized technology executive having spent her career at IBM addressing complex business challenges in a broad variety of leadership roles including technology, strategy, transformation, sales, and talent development.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of two publicly traded corporations, Clean Harbors, Inc. and Webster Financial Corporation. Across these boards, she serves as a member of the Audit, Compensation and Human Capital, Risk and Technology committees, and as Chair of the Environmental, Health and Safety committee. She also serves on as a Director for Quid, a privately held consumer and market intelligence software company. Ms. States has a certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight issued by the NACD and Carnegie Mellon University.
Ms. States is devoted to community service and public interest leadership, and serves as a Trustee for International House, New York, a graduate student residency missioned to instill cross-cultural understanding and global leadership.
She holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia University Business School and completed a Fellowship with Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative in 2015.
