Kourtney Gibson is the President of Loop Capital Markets, one of the nation’s largest privately-held investment banking, brokerage and advisory firms. Gibson oversees all brand-building efforts at Loop Capital, in addition to cultivating and enhancing major strategic client relationships across the firm’s various business lines.
Possessing nearly 20 years of experience at the firm, Gibson works in conjunction with the Chairman and CEO in the development of strategic initiatives and translating the company’s vision into action plans to be carried out by its various business units.
Gibson is a CNBC contributor, providing insight, analysis and outlook on the markets for shows on the network. In addition, she is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, The Chicago Network and the Treasury Market Practices Group and sits on the board of trustees at Viterbo University and the University of Miami as well as the boards of the University of Miami Alumni Association (President) and The Chicago Scholars Foundation (Chair).
Gibson received a Master’s of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami.
