Kitty Chaney Reed is IBM’s Chief Leadership, Culture & Inclusion Officer and IBM’s Senior State Executive for Georgia. She is responsible for executive development and succession, cultivating a culture of growth mindedness and inclusion to enable IBM’s strategic objectives and business growth.

She serves on the IBM AI Ethics Board providing DE&I guidance on the use of AI in IBM products and tools. Kitty previously served on IBM’s Black Executive Council and was the executive sponsor supporting the passage of the 2020 Anti-Hate Crime Legislation. She represents IBM in government policy forums including the Atlanta Metro Chamber.

Kitty’s previous roles include COO for IBM Marketing and Vice-President of Enterprise Operations, responsible for driving sales and business operations transformation across all business units by modernizing tools and processes. She joined IBM in 2017 as Vice-President of Quote-to-Cash, leading the transformation of the operating model for IBM Americas.

Kitty is the recipient of multiple Stevie Awards, the Globee Business Award and most recently, honored by the Atlanta Business League with the 2023 ‘Women of Influence’ Award.

Kitty holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration and Finance from HBCU Clark-Atlanta University.
